Desmond College are the overall runners up
at the LCETB Sports Day held in the University of Limerick

Desmond College students made history for their school at the LCETB sports day in UL. They claimed second place following a day of fantastic athletics.

They showed unbelievable skills on the track as well as strength in the shotput and agility in the long jump.

All athletes showed a great account of themselves on the day on and off the field. At the results announcement Desmond College cheered to the news that we had received second place. This is the best performance in the school’s history.

The students and teachers arrived back to school with a beautiful plaque and a haul of medals.
