Active School Week took place in Desmond from the 29th April to 3rd May 2019. The week of activities was organised by the fantastic PE Department, which consists of Ms. Ryan, Ms. Creed, and Ms. Quaid.
It was a hectic week, jam-packed with a range of exciting activities for both students and staff. Some of the activities included zumba, obstacle courses with active kingdom, strength and conditioning sessions, spinning, walking a mile with a smile, teacher versus student volleyball, long puck, soccer tournament, Sound Bath, table tennis and much more.
It was a great week, which highlighted the importance of physical activity for both the body and the mind.
