Micheal Helly, second year student in Desmond College, with his English Teacher Margaret OMahony being presented with a copy of Limerick People, a book written by young Limerick students.
Michael was delighted to be chosen to have his essay included in the publication. His essay was about the life of local woman Sophie Pierce or as she was better known Lady Mary Heath who was born in Knockaderry, raised in Newcastle west and who gained world fame for her flying expertise.
