The Second Year students travelled to France last week on their school tour which was organised by the Deputy Principal Ms Cregan. Ms Ryan and Ms Nicholas also travelled on the tour. They spent time in the Montparnasse area. They enjoyed a relaxing Bateaux Mouches cruise down the Seine taking in all the magnificent Parisian sights.
They visited the Louvre, one of the largest museums in the world. They shopped for a while on the Champs Elysées. This prestigious avenue is considered to be one of the most beautiful avenues in the world. Abercrombie and Fitch proved very popular!
They spent an evening in Aquaboulevard, home to an array of water slides, wave pools, jacuzzis, giant toboggans and an outdoor sandy beach. The group soaked up the atmosphere at the sensational symbol of Paris: The Eiffel Tower. From here they enjoyed the breathtaking view of the city.
The students concluded their trip with a magical experience at Disneyland Paris; Disneyland is home to astounding attractions such as Big Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain, many fabulous musical shows, street parades and plenty of your favourite characters to meet. A fantastic trip was had by all – plans are already in place for next year’s tour.
A sincere thanks to Ms Cregan, Ms Nicholas and Ms Ryan for making the trip so special.
