We want to wish four of our staff well as they head to pastures new.
Our two Tipp men, Jim Casey and Martin Bourke, are returning back to the Premier County. Grainne Shanahan is transferring to Co. Cork and Pat Daly is heading back home to Kerry.
All four were successfully transferred through the Departments hugely successful voluntary redeployment scheme. The scheme which was piloted in Connaught, was rolled out in the Munster area this year. It aims to help teachers relocate back to an area of their choice.
We wish all four well in their future careers and thank them for their contribution to Desmond College over the years. Go n-éiri an t-ádh libh.
