Former Deputy Principal, Vourneen Gavin Barry, succeeds Padraig Flanagan as Principal of Desmond College and Gaelcholaiste Ui Chonba.
Padraig Flanagan is moving to a new position as Principal of Castletroy College.
Vourneen Gavin Barry, who has been Deputy Principal at Desmond College for many years, is looking forward to taking up her new post and said “I am delighted to have been appointed Principal of this school. I look forward to working in partnership with students, parents and staff, in maintaining the high standards of excellence that we have achieved over the years, both academic and extra-curricular.”
