On Monday morning the 4th of December 2017 the Desmond College Transition Years took part in an Inter Generational Story Exchange. The project is funded by the Irish American Fund though Narrative 4. Its purpose is to promote connection and empathy between the generations.
Desmond College students were paired with members of the NCW active retirement group at the Desmond Complex.
A warm, thought provoking and humorous morning saw stories told and friendships formed between a group of people with more in common than they thought.
The session was facilitated expertly by Sheila Quealey of Narrative 4 and was an experience that will not be forgotten by both young and old.
