Students of Desmond College and Gaelcholáiste Uí Chonbá were guests of Intel on Thursday the 7th April in their Shannon office.
There they met with Intel staff and Amber Gell who is an American engineer and STEM education advocate who specialises in human performance in extreme environments.
Amber is currently part of the team building and testing the Orion Spacecraft, the Multipurpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV), NASA’S new spacecraft for Deep Space Exploration that will be used to take humans to the Moon, Asteroids, Mars, and beyond.
