On May 1st the Desmond College girls lined out in cold and wet condition to take on a very skillful Castletroy side.
Seanie Hartnett threw in the ball at 1.30pm in a well supported game. The game was close and well contested throughout. Some outstanding displays of Camogie were observed.
Castletroy’s Caoimhe Lyons converted lovely scores with Emma Herbert, Desmond College’s goalie denying Castletroy certain scores. Aoife Corbett had an outstanding game in full forward and proved very challenging for the Castletroy defence. Kiara Carroll played an exhibition showing true leadership in the Desmond College defence. Deborah Murphy was outstanding taking off some vital scores.
The game finished 3.16 – 3.08 with Desmond College coming out worthy winners.
