Despite a 10% increase in the amount of projects being submitted from schools this year (from 1800 to 2000) and the fact that 50% of all secondary schools in Ireland submitted projects, Desmond College still managed to get 10 projects accepted into the competition!
Desmond has in excess of 25% of all Limerick projects accepted this year.
We are the Number 1 school in Limerick for the 3rd year running and is in the Top 7 schools in Ireland represented in the Young Scientist Competition 2014.
Desmond College has projects accepted in each of the four disciplines, and have students from 1st, 2nd, 3rd, TY and 5th year involved either as individuals or as part of a group. In total, 20 students are hard at work completing their projects and dreaming of success!
