Becky, who is now studying in Mary Immaculate College, is the winner of a History Scholarship donated by Mr Michael Fleming formerly Castlemahon, now living in the USA.
This scholarship, worth €2500, is awarded each year to a Castlemahon student proceeding onto 3rd level education.
Becky’s research into the history of local dance halls entitled “Dancing our Way through the Ages” received great praise and commendation.
