Anois is a leadership training programme run in conjunction with second level schools for students in transition/fifth year.
It has been running in the diocese for over 20 years. It is a residential programme run in St. Patrick’s College in Thurles.
The Anois programme offers young people the chance to develop their leadership skills as well as giving them the opportunity to build up their confidence and self esteem and make lasting friendships.
Desmond College had a number of students who benefited from the programme this year: Alice Duffy, Roz Barrett, Thomas Curtin, Hannah McMahon, Michéal Murphy and Aoife Corbett.

Aoife Corbett, Michéal Murphy, Roz Barrett, Alice Duffy and Hannah McMahon all completed the Anois Programme. (Missing from the photo is Thomas Curtin).
