Desmond College Students Visit India, April 2016

April 2016: Desmond College students who isited the HOPE foundation in India and who raised funds for the charity

The girls spent time over the Easter break in Kolkata where they visited many of the projects the HOPE foundation have set up including orphanages, rehabilitation centres, homes and hospitals.

The girls raise €17,704 for the Charity.

On Friday 15th March 2013, the Desmond College Transition Years took part in a fundraising activities a 6.5 hour walk. The class set off at 9am and returned at 3.30 with tired legs but in great spirits. Congratulations to all that took part in the day – especially to the class mascot – Kirby the dog!
