The Spirit of Charity is alive and well in Desmond College!
Following an inspiring demonstration by Mr. Ian McGrath, the CSPE Action Project chosen by Ms. Carol Liston with some second year students from Rang Ailbhe and Rang Aisling, was “Helping the Simon Community and Homeless in Limerick City”.
The students charitably chose to organise a “Blanket Collection”.

They collected 75 Blankets which will be used in the Simon Centre in Limerick. This was a practical and charitable event that did not place financial burden on parents. The success of the collection shows the strong Christian ethos of giving and caring, an integral part of the spirit of Desmond College.
