Staff and students were delighted to welcome back some of the retired staff of Desmond College and the Vocational School Newcastlewest.
The retired staff were given a tour of the school to meet students and teachers, they visited the newly built construction studies room and visited the cluster of newly built classrooms.
While with us they heard our choir sing a number of festive carols and both past and present staff had an opportunity to chat and catch up over tea and mince pies!
During their visit, we launched our new website called The Vocational School History Website. This valuable resource hosts a collection of photos and stories spanning the many years of the Vocational School Newcastlewest.
We hope that past pupils of the school will enjoy browsing through the site and we hope it will bring back many happy memories.
