The TY class trip to Rome was packed full of sightseeing, fun, sunshine and smiles. The group experienced this historical city first hand by enjoying walking tours of the Colosseum, the Pantheon, ‘bones church, Trevi fountain and Spanish steps to name but a few.

The typical Italian cuisine (pizzas and gelatos) were all sampled!! As was a bit of Italian shopping!

A visit to the Cincinetti world film studios showed how films are produced and sets were made. This was followed by a day of rollercoasters and thrill rides in Cincinetti theme park!!

That was not the end of it…… a visit to the Vatican state and St Peter’s Basilica and square on the last day gave the group another completely different viewpoint of this magical city.

Memories that will last forever! A huge thank you to Ms Collins and Ms Nash for accompanying the students on tour.
