Desmond College, Newcastle West: 5-12
Salesians, Pallaskenery: 3-8

On Friday the 16th of May, Desmond College Camogie team made the trip to Mick Neville Park in Rathkeale to take on Salesians, Pallaskenery in the County Limerick Post-Primary Senior B Camogie Final.

Against the wind in the first half, the backs were under pressure from the get go with Leanne Browne, Norma Leahy and Rachel Lacey leading the defence. However some fantastic long range scores from Rebecca Delee and Alice Brislane put the Desmond girls marginally ahead at half time. Led by Captain Rebecca Delee, who had an outstanding game centre-forward, Desmond College upped their game in the second half.

1st year Aoife Corbett had a great game in the half forward line, setting up some vital scores. Both substitutes for Desmond College in the second half gave fantastic displays in the full forward and half forward line. Goals from Claire Collum, Alice Brislane and Rachel Lacey ensuring victory for the Newcastle West Team. Rebecca Delee, 6th year and captain of Desmond College accepted the cup from Salesians coach, Dermot Fitzgearld on behalf of the team.
